Don, the Chairman/CEO of Rivers Edge Bank, started in banking in 1984 as an Ag Loan Officer. As Chairman/CEO, Don spends his time developing and driving the vision, mission, and strategy of the bank; leading the bank board of directors; and managing shareholder relations. He is a graduate of Chadron State College and the Graduate School of Banking-Colorado. He has served his communities by participating on Economic Development Boards, Chamber of Commerce, and church boards. Don and his wife, Michele, spent many years living in Hawarden, IA, before moving to Parker, SD. They have two sons, Derek (Tarah) and Drew (Amanda) and four grandchildren. Don loves to experience small town eateries, golf, and drag race his 145-mph race car!
